    Students at Lake Trail Middle School in Courtenay used their school’s sign to try to get through to         voters.

I thought the photo above was appropriate given how the economy proved an important topic in the papers the last two days.  Economic growth appears to have disappeared and all the editorialists have been debating whether the voters should blame the global recession or the Campbell Liberals for the problems.
