Daily News Roundup - April 21 - Day 8

Good afternoon and welcome to today’s news roundup!

There were many more articles published today that dealt with the former NDP candidate for Victoria-False Creek, Ray Lam, who was forced to step down because of some photos on his Facebook page. I promise I will post no other stories about this unless they have something new or interesting to say. The following should lay the story to rest.

Yesterday was 4/20, a day of civil disobedience for marijuana activists. The Green Party is actively seeking the support of those who may want to vote for the Marijuana Party, says CBC.

Gordon Campbell today told his supporters they would have to do more than just show up to vote on Voting Day.

Meanwhile, the NDP continued to seek an investigation into alleged corruption in the government’s sale of BC Rail.
