The Cascadia Party of British Columbia was established in 2016 to “reassert sovereign rights of British Columbians, Introduce true localized democracy, free market enterprise, and debt-free money creation.” In addition, the party focuses on “creating a government that is directly responsible and accountable to localized region and to invest in the people.”
The party’s platform focuses on poverty reduction, First Nation’s people, the environment, transparency in governance, monetary reforms, clean water, and sovereignty.
During the 2017 provincial election, the party ran two candidates. The party did not win any seats and received 0.01% of the popular vote.
