Student Vote Day
Schools will organize a vote for the local candidates running in their electoral division in lead up to or on Tuesday, October 3.
Materials
Registered schools will receive an election manual, ballot boxes, voting screens and ballots for the coordination of their Student Vote Day.
The Student Vote Election Manual provides suggestions on how to organize the voting process, including possible voting methods, election official roles for students, and guidelines for setting up your voting stations.
Submitting Your Results
You can choose to hold your Student Vote Day for the 2023 Manitoba provincial election on any day leading up to and including election day.
All results must be reported by 4:00pm CT on Tuesday, October 3.
School submissions received by the deadline will be included in the preliminary results shared on election night. Afterwards, the results will be updated daily with any submissions received after the deadline.
The Student Vote Manitoba results will include the province-wide seat count and popular vote for each party, results by electoral division and individual school tallies.
IMPORTANT: All schools must keep their Student Vote results confidential until the end of voting on election day. Student election officials should be sworn to secrecy.
